The Abel Tasman National park is a world renouned sea kayaking destination. Golden Bay Hideaway is a perfectly positioned at the northern end of the national park to explore the many beaches, coves and headlands.

You can bring your own kayaking gear and easily access the water from Tata Beach, Wainui Carpark or Totaranui. Alternatively you can hire sea kayaks from Golden Bay Kayaks and launch from Tata Beach. Golden Bay Kayaks offers guided tours and freedom rentals.

Depending on your pace and route, a half day allows you to explore from Tata Islands to Taupo Point.

There are many days with still waters from December on, and that makes SUPping an awesome experience here. Good spots to start are Wainui Bay and Tata Beach. From these places you can easily access the many islands and the northern part of the Abel Tasman National Park, exploring its beautiful flora and fauna.
