Directions
Follow these directions to get to Golden Bay Hideaway from Takaka, Golden Bay:
- Its approximately 23km from Takaka to Golden Bay Hideaway (25 minutes drive).
- Head out of Takaka following signs to Pohara and Abel Tasman National Park.
- Go through Pohara, Ligar Bay and Tata Beach along Abel Tasman Drive.
- Take the McShane Rd turnoff at 21km from Takaka.
- Travel 2.2km along McShane Rd to Golden Bay Hideaway.

Drop off on a beach near us: Abel Tasman Aqua Taxi, Golden Bay Connections.

Walk
Golden Bay Hideaway is at the northern end of Abel Tasman National Park. You can walk the Abel Tasman Coast Track and end up at our doorstep.
