About 1 km. The Wainui car park, at the end of McShane Road, is the northern entrance to the Abel Tasman Coast Track and Abel Tasman National Park. It's a 10–15 minute walk from your door.

If you're walking the track south to north, you finish almost at our doorstep. Guests can leave their car with us free of charge while they walk the track.

For a day walk, we can drive you to Tōtaranui in your own car and bring it back here ($50, guests only), so you can walk the northern loop back to your car. Please ask our managers to arrange it. Water taxis don't run beyond Tōtaranui, so the northern end is often far less crowded.
