We loved the magical location, view of Wainui Bay from our private little yard, the bath was AMAZING, and a great sound system for fun vibes. Very relaxing place. Excellent proximity to Abel Tasman trails, the bay, and the Wainui falls. The house truck is very comparable to a tiny home. It’s a charming, cozy and romantic space! Might be a bit small on a rainy day. The fireplace is a welcome touch.
Lawrence and Kylie’s house truck is an absolutely special, cosy, inspiring experience. The location is breathtaking, the outdoor bath is amazing... it’s just so worth a try!!!
Fun to try the truck. It truly is a tiny house so well decorated. We liked the tub outside which was great after a long day in Abel Tasman national park with a lot of walking and kayaking (R&R kayaks) and in the morning we sat outside and enjoyed the view.
Compact and cute. Perfect if you want an escape into nature.
Four relaxing days and nights in a beautifully decorated house truck - in a stunning environment in a clearing in the forest overlooking the Bay! Wonderful ... I could have cancelled our next 20 days to stay longer, but my family wanted to move on to see more of NZ And very friendly hosts!
We loved our stay at the housetruck. Taking a relaxing bath outside with wonderful views of the Wanui bay is just amazing. The location however is not as secluded as it may seem in the pictures. There are other accomodations on site, so you may hear cars, people and/or music.
So relaxing. The interior of the truck is just gorgeous. Loved our two night stay so much.
I cannot recommend Lawrence and Kylie’s place more the location is beautiful and the hospitality was great!
The truck is a great way to turn off from daily life. You are almost forced by the location. The truck itself is well equipped for a small space. The bath with a bottle of wine is delightful. The local area is amazing, we went sea kayaking, saw a waterfall and a caves. I wish we had more time around golden bay.
Such a special place to stay, beautiful location, quirky accommodation which was cosy and comfy. It felt like we were on a little adventure. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful and I would not hesitate to recommend. Our 5 and 6 year olds absolutely loved the truck and their imaginations were in overdrive as they pretended to drive all over the place! The friendly weka were a bonus too. All in all a little bit of fun in paradise.
The house truck is an absolute must! It was so cosy and the location is beautiful, just a short drive away from the beautiful Wainui Falls. The outdoor bath/shower is definitely a highlight!
We loved loved loved the house truck. So fun! It was fun to be in a little hideaway with an awesome view. The composting toilet was awesome. We would love to return. My son loved sitting in the front of the truck and “driving us places.” Truly a unique experience.
What an unique find! The house truck is quirky, comfy and warm even in the Winter. We loved waking up to the view of the coast and had a lovely time visiting the springs, the falls and a walk to the beach to see the sunset. The outside bath / shower was an added magical touch. Even though we were apprehensive of venturing out to the cold to begin with, the water was lovely and warm, the view of the coast in the morning and the stars in the evening was amazing and we even had a few feathered friends outside to keep us company! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
We absolutely loved our stay at Lawrence and Kylie’s House Truck. It has its own secluded area with a stunning panoramic view of the Wainui river inlet. The truck is so comfy and cosy. It was so lovely that the heater was left on for our evening arrival. The next night we lit the little stove which was magic. We loved every feature specially cooking in the little kitchen and sunset outdoor baths. The eco friendly features were a big plus for us too, specially the clever security light system that shows you the way to the loo after dark. Absolutely fantastic we can’t wait to come back. Thanks heaps.
Amazing house truck, really cool experience for kids our daughter loved the place. The view is outstanding and sunsets are divine. The place and beach is magical and definitely a good spot for immersing into nature. The truck is beautifully kept. And has all we needed.
We had an awesome time in the Amazing House Truck! It was quirky and wonderful and in a beautiful location! Very comfy and cozy and perfect for our Abel Tasman adventure.
We had a lovely time in the house truck. Private and peaceful and an outdoor bath in horrid weather was perfect!
Great location although I recommend driving to it in daylight. Kids loved the bath and beds, I would have appreciated a few extra blankets to sit outside.
This was a very unique place! Location was amazing
One of the best Airbnb's in New Zealand. Amazing scenery and amazing facilities.
The fireplace and outside bath are a winner winner chicken dinner. The view was private and peaceful. The playhouse type bedding is gorgeous and the truck is warm and inviting. The owners are great at accommodating to your needs efficiently and the cleanliness of the place was bang on!! :)
Favorite spot on the planet. I’ll be back!
Perfection. Words can’t rate this highly enough.
The housetruck exceeded our every expectation. Its just wonderful. A must if you're ever close by.
We came to stay at the House Truck as a 40th birthday treat for my husband - a sneaky weekend away from the kids - and it was absolutely perfect. Totally secluded, with views to die for, but close enough to civilisation that we were able to pick up a takeaway pizza and bring it back to eat while it was still hot... would absolutely recommend it. The outside bath was amazing too! We are desperate to go back already.
Le truck house est très rustique, mais si chaleureux avec une vue magnifique sur Wainui Bay. C'est un très bel endroit pour se couper de sa routine et se rapprocher de la nature.
We loved the house truck! The location is beautiful and close to amazing walking tracks. The space has everything you need plus a tub. Thank you!
